Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provides tailored housing for individuals with significant functional impairments or high support needs, ensuring compliance with NDIS standards to promote independent living.
The NDIS evaluates your needs comprehensively to decide if SDA is the most suitable housing option for you. They consider how SDA aligns with your goals, promotes independence, enhances social engagement, and provides lasting benefits. Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is divided into four design classifications, each tailored to specific support needs. Funding is allocated based on the classification that aligns with an individual's requirements.We offer a diverse range of housing options across all four SDA design classifications to match the funding outlined in your NDIS plan. These classifications include High Physical Support, Improved Liveability, Robust, and Fully Accessible.
The NDIS applies the "Reasonable and Necessary" criteria to determine all funding decisions in your NDIS plan. This assessment considers factors such as safety, benefit, alignment with your goals, and whether the NDIS is the most suitable funding body for the support required.
